The IRS is set to give out the coronavirus stimulus package. The intension was to mail out the cheque to every individual but considering the latest advancement in tech and great online payments in the US, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey thinks it may take a very long time for these cheques to reach some individuals in the country.
Adding to that Twitter CEO and Bitcoin advocate Jack Dorsey has urged Donald Trump’s administration to use his payments company, “Square” to distribute this billions of dollars to US citizens rather than the IRS.
Jack Dorsey said on Thursday that with “Square’s Cash App” money could be dispensed in just a day and include the unbanked. He made a statement on his twitter handle:
“People need help immediately. The technology exits to get money to most people today (even to those without bank accounts.) Square and many of our peers can get it done. US government
