“Gospel artist Brother Sammy breaks boundaries, now available for performances in pubs and nightclubs!”

Gospel artist Broda Sammy recently mentioned in an interview that he is prepared to go into places that are typically considered ‘ungodly’ to minister through gospel music. He believes that the essence of evangelism is to spread the word of God in every corner of the world for people to be saved.

In an interview with TV3, ‘The Nation’s Worshipper’ stated that even if he is invited to perform in nightclubs and places where alcoholic drinks are sold, he wouldn’t hesitate to accept the invitation.

“If a drinking spot or a nightclub invites me to perform, I will gladly go. If any secular artist invites me, I will go. I take the opportunity to spread the word anywhere,” he explained.

Broda Sammy expressed that while everyone at church goes to listen to the gospel, those at the nightclubs are not there for the same reason. He emphasized that he wouldn’t turn down an invitation to win souls in those places, saying, “I don’t look at people and say they are non-believers, so I won’t work with them. I see them as people. I don’t discriminate. That’s all.”

He suggested that Christians should change their strategy of spreading the gospel, stating, “Even the devil has changed his strategy, why can’t we change our strategy? The clubs where people are going to sin should be the places where we should go and conduct praises and worship.”

Broda Sammy is known for his unconventional and controversial style of gospel music, which has sparked a lot of debate about the appropriateness of his approach. He is known for songs like ‘Masei Ho’, ‘Woye Obaatan Pa’, ‘Odo Nyankopon’, among others.
