“Prophet Kumchacha Calls Down Curses on Pastors Over National Cathedral Funds Misuse”

Founder and leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Prophet Nicholas Osei, also known as Prophet Kumchacha, has unequivocally condemned the pastors overseeing the construction of the National Cathedral for what he claims is the blatant misappropriation of funds. In a powerful video shared by UTV on November 18, 2024, he was seen pouring libation and issuing severe curses upon those he accuses of squandering the $58 million allocated for the project.

He boldly declared, “Any pastor involved in this theft will lose their anointing and face unavoidable disgrace and suffering until death.” Kumchacha warned that those responsible would suffer from illness and misfortune, and that their families would also bear heavy consequences. He further asserted that anyone who attempts to reverse these curses would themselves face dire misfortunes.

As a result of his warnings, some pastors have started withdrawing from the Cathedral’s Board of Directors. Notably, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills resigned in August 2022 without explanation, indicating the seriousness of the situation.
