“Kalybos Reveals Why He Didn’t Marry His Girlfriend of Five Years”

Ghanaian actor Richard Kweku Asante, popularly known as Kalybos, recently spoke about the end of his five-year relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Frimpongmaa. During an appearance on the Girl’s Aloud podcast, he explained that things simply did not work out between them.

“Being in a relationship for a long time doesn’t mean you have to settle with the person no matter what. If you assess your situation and realize things aren’t going the way you want, then it’s time to walk away,” he stated.

When asked whether his relationship with Frimpongmaa was not going well, he replied, “No, it wasn’t.”

Kalybos and his wife, Antwiwaa, recently celebrated the first anniversary of their marriage. On November 11, 2024, he shared memorable moments from their year together on social media. In a heartfelt caption accompanying the photos on Kalybos’ Instagram, he wrote: “11:11 is ONE YEAR OLD today. Happy Anniversary to us, My Mrs. Owusu Asante.
