Agyinasare: Getting Married After Landing a Job Post-University Makes Life Easier

“Graduate, get a job, and marry immediately!” – This call for early marriage by Bishop Charles Agyinasare has ignited a lively debate on social media. While some people agree with his perspective, others argue that financial difficulties make such advice unrealistic.

Renowned Ghanaian preacher Bishop Charles Agyinasare has urged young people to marry early, asserting that settling down soon after university greatly simplifies life. Speaking at a conference, the founder and leader of Perez Chapel International emphasized that the ideal time for marriage is right after completing university, typically around the age of 22 in Ghana. He explained that young graduates who secure stable jobs should prioritize marriage instead of postponing it. “Once you graduate and have a good job, the best move you can make is to find a good woman and settle down,” he stated. His comments were made in response to a question about when he would advise his children or church members to marry.

Many supporters of his viewpoint agree, with one person commenting, “Honestly, if you are financially stable and have a good woman, marry her. These streets are cold.”

However, critics have pointed out that current economic challenges make early marriage difficult. One individual questioned, “No job, but the man is growing. How do we do that?” While Bishop Agyinasare’s advice resonates with many, others argue that achieving financial security should take precedence over marrying young. The debate continues as people evaluate the advantages of settling down early against the pressures of modern life.
